I need to know what the causes of erosion are and a thorough description.

How do animals cause erosion. Gravity can cause landslides which can significantly erode an area. I have seen some managers let cattle graze and water on a stream which can cause significant soil e. Overgrazing is another major contributor to erosion.

Humans and animals can cause soil erosion simply by moving the soil. Because of which, overgrazing is a common phenomena. When too many animals live in one place, they tend to eat and trample all the plants.

Other animals change earth's surface by burrowing into it and moving material. Rain and subsequent flowing water carry along weathered rocks and other particles to be deposited at lower elevations. Too many animals in one place can destroy most of the plants, leading to faster erosion.

Weathering of any kind can sometimes cause problems, like erosion of topsoil. Without having space large enough, animals also repeatedly trample the vegetation and soil, triggering its further degradation and making the plant recovery more difficult. A burrowing animal could force rocks up to the surface of the soil, and that exposes the rocks to weathering and erosion.

Water, wind, ice, gravity and temperature cause erosion. If animals are causing soil erosion it is mostly because their owners are not good stewards of the land. Forests are being cut down in large numbers all over the world.

Burrowing and digging of animals forces soil up above the surface, which may cause erosion. Animals cause weathering and erosion on rocky shorelines. The continuous pressure on the soil by the animals will destroy the topsoil structure.
